Know before you step up
Free leadership assessments
Find out where you stand before the step up, not after it.
You’ve been told you’d be good at it. But you won’t know which part you’re ready for until the job tests you, usually in front of the team. These put you in everyday work situations first, so you find out on your own terms.
One step at a time: supervisor now, manager next, then the team you lead.
- Free, five or six minutes each
- Everyday work situations, mapped to published standards
- Your first personal read from our AI coach is free

For managers and team leaders already in the job: a check-up across five team skills.
Difficult Conversation Readiness Assessment
Am I ready for a difficult conversation?
For the conversation you’re putting off: lateness, a review, a complaint, a no.
Supervisor Interview Readiness Assessment
Am I ready for the supervisor interview?
For the interview itself: supervisor, team leader or shift lead, internal or external.
How it works
- Pick what you’d actually do. 15 short situations from shift work, four honest options each. No trick questions.
- See where you stand. A score out of 10 for each of five skills, and the one gap worth working on first.
- Get your personal read. Our AI coach turns your scores into three steps for the next few weeks, and an honest answer for the interview. Your first read is free; after that, one credit.
What you’d do, not who you are
A lot of free leadership tests ask how you see yourself. Agree or disagree: "I’m a good listener." It’s easy to tick yes.
These work the other way round. You get the Saturday rush, the friend who’s late again, the call your manager would usually make. You pick what you’d actually do, and the score comes from the choice, not the label you’d give yourself.
That’s not a verdict on who you are. It’s a picture of what you’d do on a busy day, and that changes with practice.

Questions people ask
Are these leadership assessments free?
Yes. Your scores are free every time, with nothing to pay and no email or sign-up needed to see your result. You also get one free personal read from our AI coach, on whichever assessment you do first. After that, each new read uses one credit (packs from 10 for £3 to 100 for £20), and one code works for your whole team.
How long does each one take?
Five or six minutes. One situation per screen, and you can go back and change an answer before you move on.
Is this a qualification or a hiring test?
No. They’re self-assessments for reflection. Where an assessment is mapped to a published standard, its page says which one, and no standards body endorses them.
What happens to my answers?
Nothing you answer is stored. Each assessment page says exactly what’s kept and what isn’t.
Self-assessments for reflection, not formal qualification checks or hiring tools.
